Learning Cycle 2

OVERVIEW

Internship Search
I began my internship search in the later half of learning cycle 1. However, when learning cycle 2 started and I still didn't have an internship, I set a goal to acquire one by the end of learning cycle 2. Although I didn't get an internship, I did get a couple of shadow days. I believe it was hard to get an internship, because I wanted one at a research lab while only being 15.

Reflection
Despite not getting an internship, I was able to go to a couple of shadow days that were pretty interesting. In total, I emailed 29 companies and people in addition to some places in which I called. The most frustrating thing is when the companies don't respond to me. This has taught me that I need to have patience and perseverance when looking for jobs, and internships.
